Welcome to the 2nd release, the VOICE ISSUE of Campus Vibe254
E-Magazine!

We hope that you and your friends made it safely through recent “NO
REFORMS, NO ELECTION” demos, violence, riots and looting, these are
the unwanted visits when we are in mid-year and broke. Our prayers go
out to all those who have had to deal with damage or loss of their
properties and businesses. Our thoughts and prayers are also with the
people in the devastated bomb-hit Mogadishu, Somali. It will take months
or years for many of them to rebuild their lives, thank Allah-the great,
they are still alive. More than 300 are reported t o have lost their life in
this untimely, inhumane and barbaric act. We will certainly be looking
forward to the end of the terrorism actions soon, Bravo! To our brave
soldiers serving under the AMISOM-Somali, of course not forgetting
those soldiers fighting in Nigeria ( Boko haram) and Syria’s ISIS.

You know that with the repeat elections in Kenya around the corner on
26th October, 2017, the political temperatures are high with charged
crowd attending political campaigns. It is better to practice safety
measures not to find yourself in the wrong places where your life will be
in danger. Campus Vibe254 wishes you safe short holiday as you head for
the repeat presidential elections.
