The incident occurred
at around 1 pm today (Wed. Sept 23, 2015) in ladies Hostel L. The gent, name withheld, is
reported to have confronted the lady in her room and strangled her using

The lady, who is also a fourth year student in the School of Biological and Social Sciences, was rescued by varsity security officers in conjunction with students after she made distress calls, prompting rescuers to break the door of her room in the said hostel.
On a short interrogation by a university administrator by the time of rescuing the lady, the gent vowed to kill the girl on any chance he will get. It remains unknown the cause of their near death misunderstanding.
Eye witnesses at the scene revealed that the two had wrangles last night and only today did their assumed marital disagreements reach the extreme.
